Alice
Alice is the newest member of the practice team, joining us in August 2010. After a year of learning the ropes in-house, she will start her formal training to become a registered Veterinary Nurse in September 2012.
Outside of work Alice enjoys getting her adrenaline pumping by riding horses, surfing and skiing. If she is in a more sedate mood she might walk her two terriers, Mojo and Bella, or spend time with her very senile one-eyed cat, Gizmo, or with her morbidly obese hamster called Honey!
Andrea McGregor B.V.M.S. (Hons), M.R.C.V.S.
Andrea qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2005, following which she worked in a small animal practice in Yorkshire for five years. She joined Darwin in September 2010, where she hopes to develop her main interests of small animal medicine and ultrasonography. Outside of work she is a keen classical singer, performing in many concerts a year across the country, and can often be found on the tennis or badminton court.
